rpg and game maker
Why don’t game companies use programs like RPG Maker or GameMaker to create games?
They do not use those programs because they have advanced game engines and have millions of dollars to make a game. There are limitations to RPG maker and Gamemaker so they can't make the desired game they want.

My game
Reflect on your game so far. What are its strengths and weaknesses? Please write at least 3-4 sentences.
My strengths are I got all my items done and a locked room unless you get the key. So in the final room if you do not have all the parts to a weapon you die.
My weakness right now is the health system I am still working on that.

Picture Description
Using your juiciest descriptive language, describe the picture I emailed you in a way so that students in another class could draw it fairly accurately.
There are 4 people in a triangle formation one of the people is a small baby on the bottom right corner of the triangle. The top corner of the triangle there are white flower in a heart shaped figure with a long macaroni shaped middle and it is yellow. the whole top is filled with the flowers. The top person is wearing a white shirt with a red skirt and she has a big bow tie. She was holding green leaf in her hand going down. The two bottom corner people are wearing white shirts with black skirts with a brick cylinder in the middle of them. The bottom corner girl has a pigtail braid.

Loops in other platforms
What do loops look like in some of the other languages and programming learning tools (code.org, code combat, etc)? Describe their similarities and differences, and post a small screenshot example.
In code .org it has the same function as a for loop it is just call a repeat. It is a really easy to learn because it is a drag and drop format.
The code combat loop is just a normal for loop.

ASCII
What is ASCII? What does it stand for, and what is it used for? What is another popular encoding schema and how is it different?
ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange and it is the language the computer uses to communicate with the user.Another popular encoding schema is Unicode and Unicode UTF-8 uses one byte for any ASCII character, all of which have the same code values in both UTF-8 and ASCII encoding, and up to four bytes for other characters.

Return Value and Parameter
What’s the difference between a return value and a parameter? How are they both used?
The return value is outside the parentheses and parameter is in the parentheses. A return type s A variable for the function and a parameter is the action for the function.

post- scarcity economy
Based on the conversation around yesterday’s Idea Channel Video, describe the concept of the post-scarcity economy. Do you think this idea is viable? How do you think 3D printers will evolve during your lifetime, and how will they impact the economy?
The concept is there is unlimited resources and you can make anything happen.I think it might not be viable because we will eventually run out of resources 3D printers will probably evolve more and more as time go on, and they will print like food and everyday think.I think it will make the economy boost because it will be mass production

Log into your UNIX shell account and play the game “Moon Buggy” by typing in the word “moon” at the prompt. Briefly review the game using the 5 elements of game design, taking into account the system’s structural limitations.
Moon Buggy is a simple game, press space to jump over the gaps. The replay ability for me is not very high.I don't think I can play it again because i don't like that type of game, the type of game that the goal is see how far you can go.The graphics are text based so I cant really judge it that harshly but you can understand whats happening. There is no sound so i cant judge it on that.I dont think it is fun after a while because it gets boring.

QWOP went viral because you tubers were playing it.QWOP is a flash game where the controls are suppose to be bad.The game is gonna make you mad if you get mad at games. The sound is pretty ammeter but when you start moving it starts playing a Olympic song that is high quality and not a choppy version. The replay ability is good because once you fail you want to try again to beat your new high score which is like 3.5.

compare and contrast statement
Compare and contrast the three conditional statements we’ve used in class (if, if-else, switch). In what ways are these statements similar and in what ways are they different?
if and if else is similer because they are used together. If else is used when you already used the if statement. switches are different then both of them because its like when you use switches you have cases and the cases are like rooms.

Compare and contrast the four primary variable types (bool, int, char, double) we’ve discussed so far. When would you use each, and to store what sort of data?
bool holds only true and false statements and you gonna use that for when things are true or false.int holds numbers but can not hold decimals and you are gonna use this when you need to like when your counting something in your inventory .double holds numbers and decimals.char holds characters and you can use this when you are using stats.

Story background
My story background is filthy frank has to rescue pink guy from the mighty idubbbz.
What makes a game
In your opinion, what makes something a game? Can you think of a good definition of the term game?
What’s the difference between toys, puzzles, and games?.I think for it to be game it has to have rules and a certain goal in the game. Games also have a challenge. Most games are fun to play.A good game is has good game play that is repayable and lots of people love playing.Toys is an object you can play with with no end goal and puzzles is a challenge where either finish it or you don't. Games are activity's that you can play with a end goal but you don't have to finish it right away.
worm.is
Using your best writing, construct a short critique of the game, “Worm.is”.
Worm.is is a casual type game where you can play it anytime and have fun.when you start playing the goal of the game is simple, eat the dots.As you play more you learn that you have to try to get bigger than your enemy's. You do that by either eat more dots, after awhile that doesn't work as good, so you have to go in front of the other players or they will run into you.when they do that they die and you can eat their dots.Sometimes it gets competitive but overall its a fun game to play when you have a short break or even when you just want to play a fun short free to play game

Syntax and sematic errors
What’s the difference between syntax and semantic errors in your code? Which do you think are more difficult to deal with? Describe the process you use to debug code.
Syntax errors are code that the compiler does not understand and semantic errors are code the compiler understand but its not what the programmer intended. I think semantic errors are more difficult because the programmer thinks he knows what they are doing but it is wrong.

Compare and contrast
Compare and contrast the difference between return values and parameters in functions. How do they used? How do they work? Are they always needed? Provide and explain a code snippet example.
Function does not return a value. As before this function does not return a value hence it is declared as having type
void
. It now takes an integer parameter n
which indicates the number of lines to be skipped. The parameter list then consists of a type and a name for this formal parameter. Inside the body of the function (enclosed in {}
) a loop control variable i
is declared. This variable is a local variable to the function. A local variable defined within the body of the function has no meaning, or value, except within the body of the function. It can use an identifier name that is used elsewhere in the program without there being any confusion with that variable. Thus changing the value of the local variable i
in the function skip will not affect the value of any other variable i
used elsewhere in the program. Similarly changing the value of a variable i
used elsewhere in the program will not affect the value of the local variable i
in skip
.void skip(int n) // Function skips n lines on output { int i; // a local variable to this function // now loop n times for (i = 0; i < n; i++) cout << endl; }

Binary numbers are codes used by computers to translate a song, video, picture, etc.to convert them into decimal you put the 1s into the fitting place and subtract the numbers. To make it back into binary you have to put the 1 in the correct value. You then circle the 1s and add them up.
